Modern heating technology uses the energy that is carried in the
exhaust gas as far as technically reasonable. This leads to
condensation in the chimney, which the brickwork is not able to cope
with. This is called saturation. For this reason, the chimneys have to
be rehabilitated with a condensate, usually also pressure-tight
